Pickrate MCP server: documentation

The Pickrate MCP server gives AI agents a direct-booking hotel index and a readiness scanner. It is free, public, read-only and needs no account or API key.

Connect from Claude

Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector. Name: Pickrate. URL: https://pick-rate.com/mcp. Leave authentication empty. Then ask: "Find me a boutique hotel in Tel Aviv for next weekend".

Tools

Tool	Input	Returns
`search_hotels`	`query` (required): free text such as city, area, style or hotel name. Optional: `city`, `country`, `checkin`, `checkout` (YYYY-MM-DD), `adults`, `max_price`.	Up to 10 hotels: id, name, city, country, starting rate and currency, amenities, cancellation terms, and a `book_url` that opens the hotel's own booking engine with the dates filled in.
`get_hotel`	`id` (required, from search_hotels). Optional `checkin`, `checkout`, `adults`.	Full hotel profile: description, address, policies, contact details, booking link, and links to its llms.txt, agent.json and schema.json.
`check_agent_readiness`	`url` (required): a hotel website or a hotel's page inside a chain site.	A 0 to 100 score, what works, what does not, and the top fixes. Takes 10 to 40 seconds; results are cached for 7 days.

All three tools are read-only and idempotent. Booking links carry a Pickrate click id so the hotel can see which bookings came through agents; the traveller pays the hotel's own price.
